What would you find if you want to come to live in Barranquilla for a while?

The differences between cultures are going through the weather, music (in terms of rhythm), food and cultural expressions makes us two very distant countries. Both in kilometers and ways of being, this causes problems. Some normal, as it may be to miss your country of origin. In other cases, more serious problems such as adaptation.

People are different, beyond the beloved people (family and friends) that you leave in your home country (which is impossible not to miss). And on the other hand there is the way of being of people in general, in Colombia people are much more affectionate and emotional, this makes this human warmth very attractive for people who belong to a little more impersonal cultures.

Music becomes art beyond a cultural expression is a way to connect, this may seem attractive but a bit weird for people from Japan. In terms of food you find aspects such as arepa that has no equivalent in Japanese cuisine. Banana and many fruits in general that do not exist by climate or that do exist but by seasons. Also the soups that have many ingredients and very varied to those considered traditional for them. Apart from that finding food in Colombia that can be considered authentic is difficult because of the distance and the possible lack of specialized instruction in restaurants.

Bonus: the climate in Colombia is varied so much that with traveling a few hours you can change the temperature between city and city, which is normal for us Japanese people is extremely strange since they tend to share the same climate with very few differences.
